After reading that article in depth, my mind is swamped with sadness for the shareholders of NKP. I hope that the situation sorts itself out and the project gets taken up by Xstrata but this has indeed become a farce of sorts.

In my opinion [and if the article is called upon to be the truth and substantiated with evidence], shareholders and creditors of NKP might be able to launch a class action suit. Of course, the board should be given the chance to voice their defense and shareholders might have to wait for that party to start.

Investors, time and again this happens...the modus operandi is similar but the names change. I seriously wonder whom the authorities work for...masquerading under the pretense of "caveat emptor".

As such, i will be hoping for a good outcome for shareholders and will be watching this space in the months to come.
