So who are the people that need help and how
    much help do they need?
There are plenty of people that suffer in silence
and accept the issues that they have and make
the best of their life . People who work in
unsatisfying, low paid work because they have
    psychological or physical restrictions.

I personally know people on NDIS or disability
pension that seem to be able to do anything and
    everything but can’t work.
We seem to live in a world now where the
moment someone has a slight difficulty or
challenge in life, the tax payer is expected to
    bail them out.
I was in Adelaide this morning doing some
shopping and the amount of homeless, and
obviously mentally ill people wandering the
streets is outrageous. How come nobody is
    assisting them?
The current situation in society reminds me of
my short time working in a government
department. A small percentage of people doing
the heavy lifting while a bigger and bigger cohort
ride the gravy train with minimal effort.
As a society we should assist people who can’t help
themselves, but even then there needs to be
    some limit.

As someone who pays a fair whack in taxes, I
find it insulting that the guy down the road who
claims he can’t work , has the ability and the
energy to restore vehicles in his shed all day.

Or the young woman across the road who claims to be
autistic and now gets taken on all kinds of outings
on the tax payers tab. She seems to have no
problem socialising down the pub at night
    spending her benefits cheque.
Where does it all end ?
