DOE loan of US$150 million for Balama mine was supposed to be announced at end of 30th June. Then at quarter end report to shareholders late July it was supposed to be very soon. Still, we have not had it announced.
hmmm. Mr Verner has repeatedly given hopes and expectations and failed to deliver on them. Blame China he may but shareholders should consider this:
he is paid around $800,000 a year, he was granted 4 million options back in 2020 but at a exercise price of only 44 cents a share. Has most likely cashed those in for $2.00 a year or so ago. He has been paid too much and not delivered - and that is reflected in the appallingly low share price.
He has to be put on notice - start delivering or you are moved on.
