To be frank I'm probably the last person to give comment on a Quebec specy. For starters I moved a (small) losing bet on Cygnus Metals (ASX:CY5) onto a catastrophic bet on Omnia Metals (ASX:OM1) so clearly I am without a clue. Secondly I have not dug into Metals Australia so if I said anything about it I'd probably not be talking out of my mouth. Sorry.

Just a general comment on Quebec lithium: it appears to be an order of magnitude tougher now than it was two or so years ago when over 30 ASX listed tiddlers, such as Metals Australia, were able to raise capital to take a punt on finding some spodumene there. As far as I know not a single one of the 33 or so companies have yet to make a go of it in Quebec, with lots of them moving on and looking to raise capital by chasing other minerals in other jurisdictions. I might be wrong (again) but my feeling is that only elephant spodumene projects have a chance of surviving in Quebec.
