Unfortunately that's what happens when terrorist groups (Hamas etc) control the area you live in, and attack your neighbors.

The neighbors have to enforce control for their own security.

Ever wondered why Israel doesn't bother Jordan, Egypt etc? Maybe it's because those countries don't allow their land to be used as staging grounds for attacks on Israel. Just a thought.
