Indeed...couldn't blame any 36c SPP purchasers- or anywhere up to 50c for taking some off the table, or exiting outright. Certainly has been a journey so far, completely understandable that peeps might want to get to lessen exposure or get off the rollercoaster completely.
However -I'll be scrambling around the back of sofas looking for $120,000 to convert my million oppies at some point sooner rather than later, won't be selling down heads to do so- will stump up the cash. Want to start the CGT clock on those million shares, then maybe flog them off a year later on the assumption we've advanced significantly share price wise- get the CGT benefit, pay the Wonker clan the proceeds to effectively free carry the heads we've patiently spent 5+ years accumulating.
Swinging for the fences- I want a Home Run....and I mean not just over the back barrier into the first row of seats- I mean clear out of the stadium- into the car park beyond!
