Apparently you have been around this forum for 10 yrs and so it must be a great weight off your mind to have been set straight on where you are wrong...im glad i played a small part in helping you out but credit goes to Dochico...he has a gift for imparting knowledge...i notice neither of us have received a thank you...thats the trouble with old people these days so self entitled.
as to your question...now you know how the greenhouse effect works and that infrared radiation from the earth is absorbed by co2 and not oxygen or nitrogen and that co2 also emits infrared waves which cant be absorbed by oxygen or nitrogen its probably going to be a good exercise for you to google it...its a good question...be good to see tha answer.
