    An FCAS for STX? I'll believe it when I see it. I cannot recall STX applying for accreditation or submitting an offer. But we will see.

    As for grid stabilisation, I would have to be convinced that the proposed engines have enough rotating mass to prevent rapid changes in system frequency.

    No, I am not saying that peaking and baseload prices are the same. Not knowing the figure STX used for its calculations, I used the Reference Trading Price as an example to illustrate the differences in the two types of operation. They will both be operating during peak periods.

    I am still yet to be convinced that peaking operation is a better solution than base load for providing revenue to promote STX's continuing development. I am not considering the quantity of gas used, only the revenue earned.
