Buying back shares will only increase the leverage in balance sheet, burn cash (that we are selling assets to conserve) and exasperate the issue.
As much as I have a very high opinion of MinRes's earning potential FY25 onwards - I still humbly acknowledge we need to navigate the next 12 months very carefully and need some help from commodities markets remaining strong. No room for any excessive spending or playing around with capital management framework. We just have to calm down and focus on ramping up onslow. Shorters will disappear soon.
