    I am back now .

I have been away tending to some close family matters in the WA outback .It has been difficult for communications and also things that make you realise that there are other important things in life apart from money .

I am very disappointed (like the rest of you )with the events regarding NKP ,and yes ,I still hold .

There are risks in all stocks no matter how sure they look ,and NKP is no exception .The risks are real ,and if they werent we would all be rich .

I am equally disappointed by the feeding frenzy of downrampers that have swamped these threads with lies ,mistruths , blatant defamation ,and even totally made up stories .This certainly looks to me like a media machine from vested interests on HC ,and being fed by posters that dont have risk management in their trading plan ,looking to place the blame for their misfortune .

I could pull apart many of the stories with ease ,but I would be here for an eternity .

Basically ,nobody here knows what the outcome will be at this stage ,and anyone that tells you that NKP is finnished ,is full of it . It is WAY too early to make bold statements .

There are so many ways that this could pan out but it is highly unlikely that NKP dont have legal remediation for their current position in one form or another .

There will be a lot more that comes to light before this is over ,and many could have egg on their faces ,so its way too early to be making accusations against NKP or its directors .

I have seen no evidence that implicates NKP or PL of any wrongdoing .There have been outrageous claims on Hotcopper ,that many posters could find themselves with a lawsuit ,or an ASIC investigation .
It has happened before on HC so be warned .

The Hotcopper threads on NKP that preceeded this case gave more than ample warning of the Bengwenyama court case ,and anyone that didnt know ,didnt do enough reading .Many believed that the risk was very small including PL ,MM ,and even Alex Cowie .
It had already been thrown out of three courts and called frivolous ,but a risk is a risk ,no matter how small .It was a classic case of a shock decision ,and probably moreso for PL .NKP directors firmly believed the case was groundless.

Lets be honest ,we all knew there was a court case ,but we all felt the risk was very small ,and worth taking ,so to blame others is to not take responsibility for our own decisions .

As any experienced investor knows ,sometimes it doesnt matter how much due diligence you do ,things can go awry .

What do we do now ?

Well ,I will wait for events to unfold ,as only then can I possibly make an informed decision on NKP as an investment .

I believe we will see a deal done of some description .

NKP legally acquired these landholdings from a BEE entity ,that was awarded by the Government DMR no less .

All above board and legal .

I believe NKP will have strong grounds for legal compensation if indeed there was a loss of their rights .

The logical thing to me ,would see Genorah re-submit an application with the DMR ,and follow the new protocol with respect to consultation with landowners ,but I dont know all of the political ,and legal aspects to say whether this could happen.

This excerpt from the Platinum Gazette is a strong indication that there is much more to unfold .

    CONSTITUTIONAL COURT WAS MISLED .

"Australian based platinum company,Nkwe Platinum Limited, says theBengwenyama community misled theConstitutional Court (Concourt) in thecase in which Genorah Resources lost itsprospecting rights near Burgersfort on twofarms.Nkwe says in a media release that, asa result, the Roka-Phasha communityintends to pursue legal action against theBengwenyama. The Roka-Phashacommunity alleges that the Bengwenyamamisrepresented their community statusand their status in terms of Section 104 of the Mineral and Petroleum ResourcesDevelopment Act, which affords apreferential prospecting right tocommunities that live on the landearmarked for prospecting while Roka-Phasha is also challenging a claim thatthe Concourt-favoured Bengwenyama hadpreviously won community land claim inthe High Court. Nkwe identifies the Eerstegeluk landowners as the and the greater Tubatse municipality ."

Ignore the downpumpers and make an informed decision when the true facts emerge .

The forthcoming company announcements will contain what we need to make an informed decision .

NKP could be suspended for some time ,so I wont be sweating on an early return to trading .

Also thanks to Macleod ,Stagman and a few other excellent contributors to NKP .

Just remember, we all need to take responsibility for our investment decisions ,and they wont go our way every single time ,no matter how much work we put into it .Thats why good risk management is so important in investing .

I will reserve my sentiment below ,until events become clearer ,in case anyone questions .
