building a mine in this area will be a bigger issue IMO, final devolution agreement, transferring responsibilities for Crown land and natural resources from the federal government to the Nunavut governmentand was signed in January 2024 which means Nunavut gained power of independent decision making and can say yes or no regardless of federal government’s opinion.
if they have raised issue back in 2016 and paused the project, what will be the chances they will say yes to building a copper mine?
they started a program to rebuild wildlife a few years ago?
