ASN had historical oil drilling data as well, but a company cannot define a lithium resource by testing brine mixed with oil from a producing oil well.
A company has to re-enter old decommissioned wells, perforate and cap specific clastic zones to test for flow and ppm.

MAN even writes in the announcements they have not performed sufficient testing.

I foresee MAN trying to release a 100% inferred resource then try and sell the project.
Unfortunately those buying aren’t interested in undefined resources.
