Yes of course but only about 12 % of global primary gold is in concentrates which generally goes to copper smelters and in Western Australia much less. Telfer for instance produces dore bullion and some concentrates which are shipped to overseas smelters.
Boddington has floatation to recover the copper and then CIL for gold dore.
The point I was making most mines produce dore bullion -not many polymetallic mines -probably more like 95 % of gold in WA is dore.
