I've been through a lot of bad floods in my time, Nip, but I had the sense to move my car out of the garage and onto higher ground - on account of it had wheels and was a transportable object. So, when the day comes that you're an EV owner, or still driving an ICE, and a flood looks imminent: use those round wheely things and drive to the nearest hill. Problem solved for anyone recognizing the nature of wheels.
