The way I've drawn a pennant (built from the tops and bottoms of trading ranges - bottoms since the 11th of June and tops since the 7th of September), it comes to a point in six day's time, i.e. Monday, the 20th of this month. If the SP stays within the boundaries over the next five days it should close at 6.1 cents on the Monday - with no trading-range for the day.

TA wisdom then dictates that the SP should break one way or the other from there.

Frankly, that's just being a bit too clever; in other words, 'Ain't gonna happen!' But, you never know - the market can seem really illogical at times; towit, the fact that SSN has so much cash and is trading at such a low level. Who would think that THAT is logical ... especially when the stock is in oil (THE commodity to be in over the next 10 years at least) and the company is so well run????

There are any number of penny stocks that one might suspect are less than professionally managed, with little cash and with limited prospects who defy the naysayers and have SPs higher than Samson's. (At this point, the writer sighs, rolls his eyes and lets out a grunt of exasperation ... but without real sorrow.)

At the bottom of my SSN posts I write "Stops in place, always". As, I'm sure for many other traders, they've more than proved their value time and time again over the years. Somehow, though, Samson is different. I can't help feeling that my stops now for this company are NOT a number; they are an FA point-of-view. Why sell at lower prices? Samson has such an outstanding future that it's almost impossible to consider selling it.

Alchemy has magically transformed a stop-loss figure at, say, 5.6 cents into FA's explosive retort, "What? Sell SSN at these prices? Don't be absurd."

This is one of those rare stocks where - just at this time - the future belongs wholly to the believers.

(Post-script: if ... if, the stock breaks DOWN Tuesday next week from 6.1 cents, then the world has gone mad!!!)
