Indeed, disappointing result for the company but they are still very early in appraisal of the Taroom Trough deep coals... back to reality now for their overcooked share price. Shell and Santos are appraising the same play nearby - the story will go on for another year or two at least as more wells are drilled and tested. The volumes/stakes are huge if they are successful in unlocking a development.
Mahalo on the other hand is a much smaller fish but largely de-risked and ready to be developed.
