These posts regarding "fast tracking" are far too optimistic in my view. There is legislation coming (expected middle of next year), which in DMR's own words will clarify what is meant by consultation. At the present time they admit they don't know what it means.
Given that there appears to be some serious shortcomings in the previous DMR assessment, surely they would rather get this one right than do it quickly. To me this means waiting on legislation to clarify. Yes the papaerwork may be fastracked but the decision may take a very long time.
Talk of JV is ridiculous at this stage. NKP may have nothing to JV with.
Also a little concerned that many of these "facts" are obviously coming from NKP management. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
Nothing directly from DMR or Anglo I suspect.

Ps I just wish that Genotah would give the Beng a similar cut (5%) and we negotiate forward. Just how greedy are these guys not to share?
