I attended the AGM in person.

All in attendance were highly accessible and conversational, pre and post the meeting. I spent considerable time talking with Sergio, Michael, John, Herb and Carol. What a team we have folks. If that wonder compound MPL keeps delivering the science , then I honestly believe this team will deliver a partnership or buyout, thereby delivering wealth for shareholders, and untold wealth for ALS sufferers ( not to mention other neurodegenerative conditions).

A couple of things stood out for me.

- Notice of allowance from USPTO for MPL-6 patent family. Protection to 2039 and a mandatory for any possible partner.
- on my funding question, the body language was positive. Look to NIH funding and new US entity Neurizons LLC to receive funding/grants.
- Healey Trial will recruit first patient in Jan/Feb 2025, because changes are being made to platform which requires FDA approval, and there will be one or two other regimens running at the same time as ours (yet to be announced).That’s the whole idea - we share placebo patients on trial. So we have to wait for the whole package to get the green light.

Lastly, it was great to meet several regular contributors on this forum in person.

I have a sneaking suspicion next years AGM will be one hell of a shindig.
