It's not "woke". I first learned about the idealised world of geometry from my 2nd form maths teacher who was also a Catholic priest. 1+1=2 is an expression of perfection which is not reflected in the real world, where we deal with approximations. When you look closely, "1" could be 1.00000001 or 0.9999999. A great example is the reclassification of the kilogram in 2019.

I just think it's a bad idea to quote bible verses. If you bring your religion into it, then what do you expect? Will a Jew or a Muslim or an atheist (e.g. me) be a worse investor because they don't use the gospel of John as a financial guidebook?

But since you went there, maybe Matthew 6:24 is a better verse. Here on HC we serve mammon, not god.
