I have a vague memory of being told by the team that in Silicon Valley everyone knows what's being developed by everyone else. Definately required yet don't recall why that story changed to needing the enhanced comms expertise.
Mind you, having worked the Canberra Fed Govt scene, where everyone knows everyone & yesterday's top secret project is today's morning coffee dot joining exercise, I can't see Silicon Valley being all that different.
People are people, and everyone loves solving a good mystery, nda, security clearance, etc be damned.
