If this interview is anything to go by, it seems that AGT is resigned to not even trying to compete with the big guys, just playing constant catch-up.
I find his take on the company a little negative. Heavy reliance on AI is not going to bode well for AGT, if he thinks that it will solve their internal issues. I don't believe his competitors are using AI in the their art and animation (well not LNW or ALL), because of the legal ramifications at the moment. In terms of using AI for mathematics modelling that could work, as long as it doesn't use math models of competitor games (then you could have another legal issue).
Interesting interview none the less.
