The trick is finding the right balance between socialism/capitalism. Any country is doomed if they try all of one with none of the other.

Thankfully the notion that Australia or our mother country (America) would become a fully socialist country is totally and utterly laughable. Only on Hot Copper do you find old men shivering under the bed at that absurd notion.

Australia has some excellent uses of socialism, I give you the PBS and Medicare.
