Hey guys, very dark day for all of us..cant shake this crappy feeling at the moment, but i do have a question.
This was the first stock i invested in, got in at a very low price which was nice, but also was hoping like all others for A1 to hit. im not familiar with oil and gas drilling campaigns, my question is....Would a company, or companies drill in the riskiest part of their permit first? or would they go for the sweet spot? as this drill was never going to be production tested, something tells me that maybe it wasnt going to be the "big drill" more likely a test drill to take a punt in a riskier spot to see if theres more gas in other spots?
surely this is not the end? Could petrobras have chosen this site to drill on knowing that it was a bigger risk than other spots, knowing that if they dont hit they dont have to give MEO $31 million and free carry to other wells....Could they do that?
Would love to hear from the great posters, iam, ya, anyone else in the know of drilling campaigns.
