Agreed 100% We all were excited- given the Lorelle flow (and the fact a completion tube could - from modelling- have put that at circa 3mm on it's own), t the coals flowed- at that depth. A real achievement.
Given the performance and progress leading up to the CTU departing- all looked pretty good. Only natural for Neal and all of us to be excited, and only natural to try and ride that momentum a bit- that's what leaders of businesses do- it's their fkin job!
Was it premature to speak and embed in presso's and talk in interviews of commerciality? I don't think so.
Could Neil perhaps have done a better job of focusing specifically on the risk, with strong focus on potential downside, underperformance, perhaps even a 1mm a day unified flow?
I think he could- have- absolutely....but he never guaranteed it.
We're all pi55ed off, BUT some of the posters here are accusing Neil of blatant misrepresentation.
