Clive Palmer trying to get a coal mine up and running in Qld and the drama he is having with Qld Govt.

"He still needs to get approval for an environmental impact statement, but he said that if the process dragged on, "We'll just kick them in the arse. We'll kick pretty hard, and we'll push pretty hard.

"Queensland does lead the world in the worst bureaucratic approvals system. I'm sure the Premier would want to change that. Certainly the new government, when they come in, they'll be changing that."

But Queensland Premier Anna Bligh said the EIS would be treated in the same way as any other proposal. "Clive Palmer's company stands to do very well out of this project, and Queenslanders expect to get something out of it also -- local jobs for local people," she said."
