Oh please don’t be so scared of actually making some profit. Capital gains tax is only paid on 50% of your capital gains if there is one and is offset against other investment losses or gains depending on your income situation. If you sold a percentage at $3 and kept the rest you may pay a modest fee but so what? Where is the nightmare in that scenario? Chances of that $3 next week however? Less than .0001%
Now I see why the ever faithful long term holders haven’t actually made anything and are incapable of selling at highs because they’re scared of a modest gains tax. Oh but they understand the market so much better than anyone else. Enjoy your weekend and pray next week sees us crawl out of the $2.40 zone.
