Im literally accumulating Google and Microsoft at a cheaper price. People going on about AI allowing CBA so sack their call centre staff which will apparently usher in unprecedented earnings growth. If you want to invest in AI, buy the companies who will produce the technology, and interestingly enough they are cheaper than CBA.
CBA should do a capital raising at this price. They can raise a few billion without diluting existing share ownership too much. The cost of this equity funding would be cheaper than wholesale debts market. Certainly cheaper than attracting deposits as CBA pay out a higher rate on their savings account than stockholders earn on current earnings yield.
