Ok fellas....thanks for digging around and finding out that info.
I wasn't actually claiming to know that for sure(sorry if gave that ipression), but there you go if we produce surplus we will be taxed. If you go on centrelink you will be deducted.

My feeling was that in a widely accepted market situation ( ie like 30% + of population...am I kidding?) and net feed in is large enough, the price of centrally produced power will rise in price to compensate for reduced profits.

Interestingly there was an segment on the news last night about people complaining they had done all the Green things, install energy efficient lighting, PV systems etc etc but energy bills still rose to ridiculous levels.

Seems to me this game has a way to go before we will know the true value or cost of DPS.

Bit dissapointing to think it could wind up screwing us financially anyway..Ah! what price the world :(

Theres a lot of 'what if' in calculating the true FV and ROI of installing such a system. Perhaps the discounts on offer to do so will actually cancel out if one discounts the savings from the future value of the investment. Tis all to be seen imho. And of course there are still ongoing costs with any system you install. Perhaps my 6 or 10 grand would be better placed elsewhere until this all becomes clear.

Anyway...I still like CFU...just gotta get the volume sales up and the prices down. If I owned a farm I know what I would install.
