Spot SC6 has risen 4.8% from the bottom
Spot Carb has risen 8.3% from the bottom
WC8 has risen 94% since the bottom.
The 2x takeovers of lithium companies are positive for the sector but it doesn't change the fact that SC6 is still at a level which means large losses for most producers. WC8 is still a stranded asset because it likely needs a billion dollars to fund the capex and this level of funding won't happen at current price levels.
If Chinese spot prices continue to remain at multi-year lows, the ~100% equity price moves for stocks like WC8 and PLL won't hold up for long.
