Hi Pat. Thanks for the input - it was a good reply. I guess by natural inclination I'm a short term trader and therefore I find it hard to ignore price dips. Historically the only stocks I have held long term are those that have fallen in price significantly - you know; the classic old incompetent's method of selling too soon on the up and failing to sell quickly enough on the downswing. However, I have no doubt whatsoever that in a few months time the Bass SP will be where I'd like it to be, so I'll have to try to curb my natural reactions in the meantime. I note that the rout has halted for today at least, as obviously some shrewd people have seen 35.5 and 36c as good buy-in prices. If I'd had any more money I'd have grabbed a few more too.
