remains to be seen if PRU would lob their full takeover offer prior to the grant of the exploitation agreement,
it could also be made part of a conditional offer, maybe.
but, PRU at 2.85 now had a solid run up and now sit at a tick under 4billion market cap.
my guess is a PDI offer is majority or fully equity acquired. i.e pdi shares convert fully into pru shares and to cash out pdi shareholders would need to sell pru shares.
pru also comfort in their buy back assignment in that in the event of a surge in selling of PRU shares they can support the price levels they desire.
therefore, i think PRU would be very very seriously considering if now was the time to act on an offer to pdi.
