Try comparing Makuutu's actual head grades of 3ppm Tb and 23ppm Dy against Longonjo's grades of 20ppm Tb and 100ppm Dy; Then consider Makuutu's joke recoveries of (what were they at Ph2 ?~ 35% compared to Longonjo's of +65% However, the main value of LJ is in its NdPr grade of around 3,000ppm against ~ 180ppm at MK; again it gets worse when you dial in Recoveries.
Which is why Longonjo is a Mine currently in construction and receiving grants from the MSP, while Makuutu still remains just DIRT in mothballs.
