My disappointment lies in two things. Lynas first mover status has not translated to significant price advantage. Really, Lynas just functions as a hedge for ex China customers worrying about supply but they don't really pay much of a premium.
Also in my recent experience, management seems to not bother with investor concerns. I have not received responses to emails and the occasional phone calls I've made go unanswered. Lynas is not (yet) a BHP and we investors have questions and concerns for management in this opaque market. We need access.
China Northern has undertaken quite an upgrade to its facilities and are probably becoming much more efficient, reducing their cost base even further. If Lynas is unable to attract a decent price premium, or unable to produce and sell at scale then the share price will continue to languish. Just my thoughts. I too regret not exiting at the highs. Let's see what management has at this quarterly.
