I think what Garry Sherriff (JP Morgan) is trying to point out is totally valid in that the risks that he has identified as applying to aspects of CSG to LNG projects are also 'potential' risks to the financial bottom line of these projects and therefore the return to investors. (not to metion the poor old general public) The risks are different to those faced by an oil major drilling a deepwater well (which jp morgan would be well familiar with) and therefore hard to quantify..in other words what he is saying is 'welcome to uncharted territory'.

It is up to the majors involved in CSG to work through these risks and somehow, quantify them from an investment cost and environmental cost perspective...

I don't know how much weight the market will place on Garry Sherriff of JP Morgan fame and his massive downramp but as others have said here, their motivation and the fact that they are so hugely invested in Oil & Gas all over the world does make me wonder what's next..
