"Basket Values" are not a measure of how much your DIRT is worth, why, because they are calculated on the relative "Percentages" of the component Elements in your mineral assembly. Not on the actual contained grade per ton.
Try replacing "Percentage" with grade (ppm) in your tables, you will immediately see that Makuutu has very little Dy, Tb and that all of the other deposits you try to compare against have around an order of magnitude more.
The only thing that Makuutu has going for it is that Tim would be able to take the recovered Tb back to Belfast in his first class suitcase each month.
