just wanting to give some context on spontan also. I am a registered nurse here in Aus. I have worked in the ED field for 5 years with the following drugs- Tadalafil (most popular choice), vardenafil, cialis, and 5x different injectable options. I see roughly 20-25 new patients per day for ED.
The side effects are constant, the results are rarely great and patients want higher and higher doses to get some effect, which also leads to patient frustration and dissatisfaction. We frequently have to prescribe or recommend a PPI due to constant reflux or heart burn issues that we cause. Headaches, muscle aches and cramps are frequently reported, and some disappointment due to lack of spontaneity with their partners.
I feel like this drug would make a world of difference for my patients and I look forward to the TGA approval!
