I was a bit surprised to see that but I probably shouldn't have been. He has presided over a trainwreck at SM1 in his tenure. He did inherit a lot of baggage from prior management decisions but I think it's fair to say things were made worse, particularly in terms of the way the A2M relationship was managed.
There would have been no value in pushing him out before the recapitalisation was completed but I could see why Bright and A2M would be keen for a reset now.
