Unfortunately, $18 wont be happening (at least not anytime soon - say, the next 3 years). $16b valuation? Not unless coal hits $400USD again and sits there for a considerable amount of time.
Like you said, range trade between $5.50 & $7.50 for the time being. Met Coal back down to the $200 level, thermal at $150. Dividends will be below ASX average.
Better "long term" options elsewhere.
