Do you understand that post-BHP asset acquisitions WHC now has a much bigger revenue and cost line, and a very different cash balance? Yes
Do you understand that is not just diversification by coal and mine, WHC is a very different company? Depends what you mean by very different.
Do you understand that WHC now has two types of coal, not one "underlying commodity"? Yes - I literally said diversified COAL miner.
Do you understand that WHC doesn't need thermal coal to go above $400/t to get back to $10? No - it depends on how long a hypothetical price stays high. If it stayed at $300USD for 5 years, then sure, $10 would be easy. But thats not what happens.
Do you understand that a range of analyst models shows >$10/ share on bottom-up DCF (before fiddling with multiples and discount rates) Analyst models can do whatever you want them to do. I love when some posters point to analysts for confirmation, and others point to analysts saying they're always wrong. Cant have it both ways. But sure, show me these analyst models.
Are you a good investor in resources? Yes - I like how you didnt give me the option. I made positive trades in WHC twice, NHC, YAL, GRR, and PLS a few years back. I have only one capital loss on PLS (position bought last year and sold this year).
