Yep I missed the bull.

But then again they were calling for a new bull all the way from 1980 to 2000.

And they will call a bull all the way from now to eternity.

I have admitted I lost a million bucks in one day trading gold in the mid 1980's and I am quite thankful really.

It cured me of gold fever.

So maybe I am paranoid, and I think I could be more successful today and I certainly believe it is possible to trade or invest and make money in that area.

However, I believe the capriciousness of gold etc, makes not only fundamental trading but also technical trading, one for the sharpest of minds.

The whole premise for gold is that the US monetary system will collapse.

I do not believe that to be the case, at least for now.

I do believe the US economy will struggle for some years but a collapse is not in the works IMO.

So if no collapse then gold etc, as just having a nice run.
