"There are some great posters on HC who do lots of research and share it here. But make sure you also consider the dissenting viewpoint. The thing with some negative posters is that they are negative all the time and their posts have a distasteful, sniping quality.
HC advice is to use the 'ignore' button. I don't generally, as I tend to feel it makes the thread hard to follow. The best advice is don't talk to them as that tends to hijack the thread by giving them a voice to spread whatever."
Why do you even reply to this type of poster? Their influence and power is derived solely from replies to their unpleasant and distasteful posts. Don't get sucked in by this juvenile garbage.
