Get a second credit card that has a 12 month zero interest for credit tranfers.
tranfer your debt to the 12 month interest free credit card.
Leave your SDL for 6 months to get through the period of 'big announcements'.
then reconsider how much/if you sell to pay the credit card.
in the meantime, I would try to pay a bit off the credit card each week/pay day. Even if you paid only $25 a week its going to reduce your credit card debt by over $1000 during the year whilst you are waiting to see how far SDL can travel!
