It’s very short term treatment because it is a glutamate antagonist. Glutamate is used as the power molecule for the brain and it’s what the brain uses to send messages to the whole brain which make communication with the spinal cord passing on the messages onto human organs. Now with glutamate release it causes the release of huge amount of calcium which travels through TRPC receptors which is the cause of neuron death and brain tissue
