Ferrari readies for electric vehicle production with all-new factoryFerrari's new state-of-the-art factory has officially opened in readiness for the the Italian brand's first electric car,
Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna told assembled media, including
Drive, at the facility’s inauguration in Maranello last week that the new factory has not been designed to increase production capacity.
Vigna refused to be drawn into
media speculation ahead of the inauguration that the addition of the new plant could see Ferrari’s annual production increase from around 14,000 to 20,000 cars annually.
He also refuted reports that Ferrari’s first-ever electric car would be priced around €500,000 ($AU805,000) when it is released in early 2026.
Ferrari will be requiring a high performance battery for their new $800,000 electric Ferrari , a battery that is much lighter , faster charging and has much higher energy retention available ,we know Ferrary are very serious about performance , they must be trialing Anteo's 70 % silicon anode . if not ? its time to give them a call David , if its good enough for Mercedes Benz , its good enough for Ferrari, Porsche,Lamborgini and any other high performance EV, good luck ADO heads , its ADO time to rise and shine.
