With Colosseum gold, they bought a brownfield and only had to open it up and expand again. With REE they have to start fresh (with the possibility of sending ore to Mountain Pass for processing). My understanding is that they have not yet tried drilling to get into the REE carbonatite mineralisation which lies deeper. I think there has been good sense to move on the gold and use proceeds from production to get into REE and Sr. The Sr purchase always seemed opportunistic to me and without a great deal of investigation
