Oil dominates because it works, it's transformed human life, the Rothschilds took advantage of the opportunity rather than influenced it along with others aswell, oil influences or sells itself because it works so well, they were smart and i suppose still are quite smart and made lots of money out of it, yeh they probably sowed up the market aswell but thats all just smart business, many businesses do the same today, Coles and Woolies and Bunnings are some examples.
There are many conspiracy theories and outright garbage written, posted, memed etc on the Rothschilds as paper never refuses ink, when it comes to oil they were just smart and have obviously helped humanity a lot, there might be other things they've done which humanity may describe as undesirable but with oil they did ok, we enjoy todays standard of living in large part due to oil.
