Totally disagree, Martin and any other CFO need to be answerable for their actions.
Derivatives do the same thing as forward selling without capping future profits.
The derivative premium is similar to an insurance policy contract.
The fact that these derivatives aren't utilised more in this sector makes me question whether there are other potential ulterior motives behind company hedging policies.
