It’s like mini(?) PTSD around here sometimes I reckon when people get used to electric-charged action and that sets up a pattern of expectation, and then enormous frustration or even fear when the ‘lollies’ slow down
(maybe addiction to the excitement of price rushes is a more apt description although I think in cases of PTSD sometimes people engineer a charge - even a negative one - to maintain/recreate the adrenalin spike.)When that gets amplified across a whole sector there’s gold staying firm - as you say - but has it consolidated for long enough at recent highs or are we still in anxiety territory ?
And then all the markets will likely respond in whatever way they choose at news of whoever gets to sit in the US presidential seat next week…
And here’s Spartan trundling along, drilling and doing its’ version of speleology inside the Juniper portal, and Simon and Nick being stellar ‘show ponies’ for the company to remind that beyond all the tinsel and ribbons and rushes there’s a very sound resource in the ground sitting next to a mill that’s in excellent condition and just needs a few tweaks to start operating again.
It’s all going like clockwork I think (
hope!), and maybe it’s a good thing that Spartan, this big-for-us and yet comparatively tiny element in the huge universe out there of gold prices and global markets in general
( reacting to politics, war, asteroid hits, alien invasions and whatever else life wants to throw at us) is keeping things quiet for a bit with - hopefully - good news up it’s sleeve, like a marmalade sandwich, for later?
