Thank you for your email, and I am not offended at all! Entertaining, accurate and I love constructive feedback.

I have many childhood friends back home who are writers, and they can’t believe that I write public announcements for a living, they are horrified at the prospect.

I did try to branch out recently with Exceptional, and then I repeated it in back-to-back announcements…

‘Encouraging’ typically invokes a red flag response, or so I am told by brokers, so I try to avoid it despite it being another word within my limited vocabulary.

In line with my childhood writing limitations (according to my friends and teachers anyway) science tends to be more direct and adjective free which might also play into my finding one word and sticking with it.

Ok, I commit to breaking out a thesaurus and using new words for exciting. Be on the lookout, hold me to it, and take credit for inspiring the changes!
