interesting .. but no surprise - as america was never just going lay down at let it happen - without a fight .. too much is at stake ... lol lol well ok .. it seems that democracy is at stake

oh - and when russia was kicked out of SWIFT.. it did not take long before the russians set up an alternative payment system .. and which the europeans were very quick to learn how to use ..

only minor issues - but it seems that nigeria is dumping the american $ for sales of oil to refineries within nigeria which is about 450,000 barrels per day

    reuters.com/business/energy/nigeria-allows-nnpc-sell-oil-directly-dangote-refinery-cabinet-member-says-2024-07-29/

and argentina is using the YUAN for something or the other ..

anyway - china is the largest market in the world, and the largest trading partner for over 100 countries .. and in the fullness of time - they will make the rules on how trade will be conducted .. already over half of their trade is in the local currency ..

america is fast becoming a back water .. all they can do is bully, make threats and sanction.. and how have these sanctions worked against russia, china and iran ?????

and in relation to the muslim countries to our north ie indonesia and malaysia - (and as part of the other asean countries ) .. australia should take note of their intentions ..

mmm back in 2018 and in Post #: 36870119 ... watso wrote the following ..

scotty is obviously telling our muslim neighbours to the north to mind their own business .

well we are all allowed to change our thinking
